Tons of opportunities for women in Project Management. Project Management is not a gender specific role and some of the best Project Managers I have ever met are women. As a matter of fact, about half of the PMs I work with regularly are women.
Any serious, reputable company in the modern world would treat the application from a woman exactly the same as they would one from a man. Of course being woman per se won’t get you a role in Project Management, regardless of your gender, you need to showcase experience, a proven track record, training, Certifications, etc. How much of this will vary depending on the level of the role (e.g. Internship, Junior, Senior, etc.)
Project Manger is one of the many roles. There is NO gender difference in appointing this role(PM). Equal enjoyment by women and men of socially-valued goods, opportunities, resources and rewards exist everywhere.
