An example of a customer-centric company is Amazon, they will do ANYTHING and I mean anything to make a customer happy, even sacrificing profit if must.
While some other companies might prefer to make money over customer satisfaction. For me it might not be the best business model, but it suites them!
In this day and age, CSAT is more valuable than god and that’s due to social media and info access. So many companies might have or have had to change those business models
So customer centric basically means project outcomes and deliverables are focused on the end user, his or her experience and their needs. Whilst Business centric, means it’s more focused on business outcomes such productivity, efficiency, quality, revenue increase and so on.
